Behind every piece is a network of local makers, from pattern cutters and seamstresses to artisans and creative partners, whose skill turns an idea, a piece of fabric or a pattern into something you can wear.

We care about the making of our clothes as much as the finished garment. That means celebrating craftsmanship, developing our makers and continually finding better ways to create within our own ecosystem.

Our inspiration comes from East African colour and pattern, architecture, movement, music, people, places and the everyday elegance of African life.
